In 2024, I had to sell my wedding dress (and buy a new one) on Facebook Marketplace. It was an awkward headache — driving all over Ottawa, meeting strangers, and trying on dresses in unfamiliar homes, often only to find they didn’t fit. I wanted to create an event that makes things easier for both brides and sellers. This consignment sale brings together beautiful pre-loved wedding dresses in one convenient space, so buyers can see multiple options at once—without the hassle of travelling all over the city. Sellers can clear out space in their homes without the stress of hosting strangers for try-ons.
Best of all, it’s also an opportunity to give back! 25% of each sale will go to Harmony House Women’s Shelter here in Ottawa, helping women in need while giving wedding dresses a second chance to shine. Here’s how it works:
Bring your dress to our fully insured venue, decide on a price, and sign a consignment contract.
If the dress sells you receive an instant notification and payment immediately (via e-transfer)
If the dress doesn’t sell, you can pick the dress up at the end of the event in the same condition you dropped it off.

If you purchase a dress at the event, 50% of the sale goes to the owner, 25% goes to the Harmony House Women’s Shelter, and 25% covers the cost of hosting the event.
