Dropping Off Your Flowers at The Studio

FYI - This is not real client information!

Before any flowers enter the Bouquet & Frame Studio, clients must:

  1. Have a phone/virtual consultation to discuss what they would like to have made.

  2. Place an order on the website

  3. Book a floral drop-off appointment.

  4. If you are delegating the task of dropping off the flowers to someone else, please share this webpage with them, and please share your appointment confirmation email with them. We encourage you to create a three-person group text between the primary client and the person dropping off the flowers and The Bouquet & Frame number (613) 316-2576.

  5. If a client is dealing with an emergency ( for example, they didn’t know floral preservation existed… and they have to catch a flight in 2 hours and need help urgently)… Please call or text (613) 316-275 as soon as possible, and we will try to iron out a plan.

Once the above steps are complete, this is the information you need to keep your flowers in good shape after your event and how to bring them to the studio:

  1. After your event, please refrain from touching the petals

  2. Remove any ribbons or charms from the flowers. Keep these at home if you do not plan on having these items included in the artwork. If you want these items included, please follow the packaging and labelling instructions below.

  3. Please take clear photos of the flowers and text them to (613) 613-2576

For bouquets, please keep the flowers in a vase of fresh water.

For floral arrangements in foam, keep the foam wet. You can water it just as you would add water to a vase.

For already dried flowers, please have the dried flowers consolidated in a firm container with dry paper towel to cushion the dried blooms- not loose in a bag.

For any photos, vows, invitations, notes, or paper items, please have them in a ziplock or resealable plastic bag labelled with your name and order number.

For textile items, such as hand-binding ribbons or weavings or memorial clothing flowers, please do not store them with the moist flowers. If these textile items are stored with wet flowers, they can absorb moisture and develop mould. If these textiles are stored with dried flowers, they can crush the flowers and cause irreparable damage.

For charms or clay items, please keep these stored in a firm container with paper towels to cushion these delicate items and absorb any moisture from these items. Please change the paper towel with fresh paper towels every day leading up to the drop-off appointment.

For your floral drop-off appointment, bring your flowers in a cardboard box or paper bag labelled with your name and order number. This is very important.

When bringing your flowers to the studio, please:

  • DO NOT bring the flowers to the studio loose in a garbage bag with water - doing so can make the flowers unusable.

  • DO NOT bring the flowers to the studio covered with a plastic bag - doing so can make the flowers unusable.

Your appointment time is not a suggestion; we plan our working days and other appointments around your time slot. We can’t accommodate walk-ins or clients arriving at the studio earlier than their scheduled time. If you will be late, let us know via text (613) 316-2576.

The studio is located at 218 5th Ave.
Here is information to help you with parking:

  • There is street parking along 5th Ave

  • There is a small parking spot in front of the studio (please see the picture to the side)

  • There is a parking spot in the back behind the studio, but please be aware that the alley is tight and hard to maneuver in a big car/van (especially in snowy months)

  • VERY IMPORTANT! Please do not park in the alley/driveway beside the studio - this is the driveway that allows my neighbours to enter and exit, and it causes friction when my neighbours can’t access their homes if our clients are blocking their access. Thanks!
