Remembering Pets
My beloved puppy, Ginger passed a decade ago and not a day goes by that I do not mourn her. Her ashes were sitting on my dresser and dog tags were hanging from my closet door until I preserved them in a beautiful urn that sits beside her photo in our living room. I smile every time I enter the room and look at my treasured heirloom of our lost family member. Additionally, I took some of the ashes and made a set of charms for each of my family members to wear and keep close.
