FAQ

Timeline & Process

The process begins with a conversation! Please reach out in a DM or an Email and I will respond with an email containing a custom form with questions to sort out your order.

  • Flowers are to be dropped off at the Everafter Creates Studio (Ottawa or Toronto)

  • There will be a 6 week turnaround time for the coasters and the frame. With Covid it is really challenging for me to give accurate turn around times - I will try to keep you in the loop every step of the way! The project may be done earlier, and if this is the case, you will be notified!

  • Order must be picked up within 10 days of being notified that the order is finished.

    • If for some reason you are unable to pick up your order at the 6 week mark or when you are notified, I ask that you send a friend or family member to pick up for you.

If this is not possible I can hold on to your order for 2 more weeks, but the remainder of the invoice must be paid via e-Transfer.

Cold Hard Questions

  1. Do flowers need to be fresh? Can I work with dried flowers?

    • I can work with flowers that are 12 hours old or flowers that are 20 years old. (Ask me about the time I worked with a 20 year old rose!)

    • The only benefit of having fresh flowers is that we have more options of what I can make with the flowers. If the flowers are very old, I may be restricted in what I can make. For instance, It is unlikely that I could make a pressed frame with very delicate old flowers, as they may crumble.

    • If you have flowers, I can preserve them for you.

Creative

  • I reserve the right to pick which flowers are used and how the composition will be arranged

    • I would still love to hear requests if you have a favourite flower or leaf :)

  • Please be aware that when you see your final order, your flowers may not be the exact colour that they were when you had them fresh.

  • Why? Some flowers are chemical treated or are treated with waxes to preserve their life and stay fresh longer for your wedding, this is great for events, however, when I am preserving these flowers, such waxes and chemicals can cause the colour of your flowers to change when I place them in resin.

  • Please understand that there is an organic nature of this art, and so each coaster, jewellery holder, creative item will not be exactly the same in composition, size, details. There may be slight, unique variances between items in a set.

Payment
Process

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. . The remaining balance is due the day upon picking the order up from the Everafter Creates Studio. Cash or e-transfer is accepted. Past due accounts are subject to a 2% service charge accrued daily from the day due until balance is paid in full.

  • Final payment of outstanding invoice is due upon pick up of the order.

  • In paying for this service, you are agreeing to the terms and stipulations listed in this contract.

Care &
Keeping

  • Do not place any of these items in microwave or dishwasher

    • If dirty, wipe with a damp cloth and then wipe dry

  • These products are not intended to be placed over a live flame or have flames directly applied to the dried resin

  • Do not let objects freeze, be in the freezer or stay outside in freezing temperatures
